Have you heard of UNiDAYS?
I recently came across this handy website, that allows university students (in Australia) to receive up to 50% off many brands.
This for me is of great help, given that I work part time and it’s hard to afford certain things.
There are skincare and make up brands, health and fitness brands, travel discounts, takeaway discounts, and discounts off Dell, Alienware, Vodafone, HP and lots of other brands, that can help a little when funds are tight.
Do keep in mind you will be asked to register with your university email in order to verify that you are indeed a student, before you become eligible to the perks.
I feel with the cost of uni books and fees sprouting from all unexpected angles, can make you consider spending a dollar even for coffee, but sometimes you need essentials that will help with your studies and I think UNiDAYS is a great source for students who need a little extra help.
I wish I knew of this site earlier as I have already purchased most of my essentials from other places (though still at a good price).
K-mart is actually a pretty decent spot to find cheap and relatively good quality school essentials too. Most of my purchases came from there, and at a total of about $20 for diaries, post it notes, pens, paperclips, pencil case, whiteout, highlighters and a few other things.
What about you guys?
What are your best sources for university students?
Do tell, I could use a little help myself, especially when it comes to textbooks.
